Will of Thomas Earle from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 551-552 probate year 1891 Last will and Testament In the name of God Amen I Thomas Earle of Bay Roberts in the island of Newfoundland carpenter being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of life do this fourth day of February one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight make this my last will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say to my son Jacob Earle I give and bequeath my dwelling house outhouses and cellar now in my possession situated at Spaniards Bay Pond with all that piece and parcel of land on which said dwelling house outhouses & cellar stands and which surrounds said dwelling house outhouses & cellar bounded on the east by the Wesleyan Meeting house bounded on the west by my son William Earle's land bounded on the north by the Main street of Spaniards Bay Pond and on the south by the Hole called Barry's Ridge to be his and his heirs forever. And I nominate and appoint Henry ??? of Bay Roberts my executor to this my last will and testament and I hereby revoke all former and other wills by me made and do declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said Thomas Earle have hereunto set my hand and seal at Bay Roberts, aforesaid, the day and year first above written Thomas his x mark Earle Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator Thos. Earle, as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request, and in the presence of each other have hereunto set and subscribed our names as witnesses. R. H. Taylor W. J.
