Will of Patrick Druken
from Newfoundland will books volume 8 pages 205-206 probate year 1906.
(This will is also recorded, with the addition of comments in the margin, in volume 8 page 98 probate year 1906.)

This is the last will and Testament of me Patrick Druken of the Torbay Road Farmer. I will and direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be first paid out of my general estate
I give devise and bequeath to my son Thomas two acres of land situate on Barn Marsh Hill East. To Hold to him absolutely.
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Catherine Druken the House and farm at present occupied by me and all property of mine situate on Barn Marsh Hill West and all my property situate in Newtown Torbay and my Farm on the Western Path and all my Household Furniture, Horses, Horned Cattle, Carriage, Carts and Harnesses for and during her natural life and upon the death of my said wife I will and bequeath the property bequeathed to her unto my son Michael and his heirs forever
I give devise and bequeath unto my son Richard all the property he now occupies situate on the Torbay Road To hold the same to him for ever.
I give devise and bequeath to my son Patrick all the property he now occupies situate on the Torbay Road for and during his natural life and during the life time of his wife Ann and upon the death of my said son Patrick and his said wife Ann or in the event of the said Ann Druken remarrying then I give devise and bequeath all the property bequeathed to my said son Patrick to my said son Richard and his heirs forever.
I appoint John Ellard son of Peter Ellard sole executor of this my will Dated at St. John's this 25th day of September AD 1906 Patrick his x mark Druken
Signed by the above Testator Patrick Druken by making his mark thereto as his last will and Testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Frank D. Lilly Mary Druken
