Will of Thomas Doyle from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 486 probate year 1929

In re     DECEASED.
THOMAS DOYLE.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Thomas Doyle of St. John's in the island of Newfoundland, Master Mariner. I hereby revoke all former wills or testamentary dispositions by me at any time made heretofore and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament. I nominate and appoint my son Gerald S. Doyle to be the executor of this my will. I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid and satisfied by my executor. I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal property and estate of which I may die possessed or entitled to in the following manner that is to say. To my son Gerald S. Doyle all my land and property and any interest in same, situate at Kings Cove, Bonavista Bay in the Island of Newfoundland, also my clothing and personal effects. To my daughter Mrs Thomas Tuff the sum of five hundred dollars. To my son William Doyle my sea-chest and all my charts and nautical instruments. To my brother William Doyle the sum of two hundred dollars. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate not hereinbefore disposed of I direct to be equally divided between such of my grandchildren as may be living at the time of my death, for such purpose and in such manner as my executor shall deem best.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John's aforesaid this third day of April in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty nine.

THOMAS DOYLE.SIGNED PUBLISHED AND DECLARED by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us (both being present at the same time) who at his request and in his presence hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses attesting the due execution hereof.
