Will of Olive Annie Dent, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 227 probate year 1930

IN RE.          DECEASED

OLIVE ANNIE DENT

This is the last will of me Olive Annie Dent Journalist of Rose Court Garforth Near Leeds revoking all will and codicils previously made by me.
I appoint my two sisters Ethel Jane Dent and Lydia Richardson Dent both of Rose Court Garforth aforesaid executors of this my will I give my personal chattels to my mother Mary Dent of Rose Court Garforth aforesaid I give my Anglo Newfoundland shares my Taglioni shares and £400 (Four Hundred Pounds) to my sister Vera Dorothea Dent of Rose Court Garforth aforesaid I give £200 (two hundred pounds) to my aforesaid sister Ethel Jane Dent I give £200 (two hundred pounds) to my sister Laura Elizabeth James of 13 College Road Ripon Yorks. I give all the residue of my property not hereinbefore disposed of and any property over which I may have any right of disposition in equal shares to my two sisters Vera Dorothea Dent and Lydia Richardson Dent both of Rose Court Garforth aforesaid Any property I may hereafter inherit I give equally among my aforesaid four sisters that is to say in equal shares to Vera Dorothea Dent Ethel Jane Dent Lydia Richardson Dent and Laura Elizabeth James I desire that a Doctor shall cut one of my veins at least twelve hours before my coffin is screwed down and if possible I would like my War Medals to be buried with me I particularly do not wish my mothers and sisters to grieve about my death because they contributed so very greatly to my happiness in life that I do not wish to be the cause of any sorrow to them.
IN witness whereof I the said Olive Annie Dent have to this my will set my hand this 3rd day of March 1930--- OLIVE ANNIE DENT ------ Signed by the above named Testatrix in the joint presence of us who in her presence and in that of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses ----- Florence Heare of 39 Royal Avenue --- Muriel Seaton of 39 Royal Avenue Chelsea
