Will of Hon. Charles Crowdy from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 355 probate year 1889 Last will and Testament This is the last will and Testament of me Charles Crowdy of St. John's Newfoundland Surgeon. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife all my estate moneys moneys and effects whatsoever, and all proceeds of my life insurance to have and enjoy the annual interest and proceeds thereof during her life, and on her decease the principal sum shall be divided equally between my unmarried daughters, and in case either of my said daughters shall marry the principal sum shall then go to my unmarried daughter, and in case both my daughters shall marry the said principal sum shall be divided equally between my three daughters or such of them as shall survive at the marriage of my daughter, who shall last marry. I appoint my said wife executrix of this my will.
Dated at St. John's this twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord, eighteen hundred and eighty nine. - Charles Crowdy. - Signed published and declared by the said Charles Crowdy as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers who in the presence of the testator and of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as such witnesses on the day and date last above written.
