Will of John Crowdell In re This is the last will and Testament of me John Crowdell of the Freshwater road in west End of St. John’s Farmer - I give devise and bequeath to my sister Mary Ann Fitzgerald of St. John’s widow a piece of Cultivated land containing two acres on the north side of the Freshwater Road and bounded by land of W.P. Walsh and Duffs land. I direct my executor hereinafter named to have a High Mass Celebrated for the repose of my soul. The rest and residue of my Estate I give devise and bequeath to my wife Margaret Crowdell during her lifetime and after her death the same is to be equally divided between my three sisters Mary Ann Fitzgerald widow Margaret Cole married woman and Bride Halley married woman I appoint my nephew John Fitzgerald executor of this my will. Dated at St. John’s this 21st day of February 1908 (sgd) John Crowdell Signed by the said Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Thomas Fennessy George T.
