LAVINIA COUSINS.

I, Lavinia Cousens, of Saint John's in the Island of Newfoundland, widow of the late Nicholas L. Cousins (Master Cooper) being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make, publish, and declared, this as, and for my LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT. I hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary, dispositions by me, at any time heretofore made.

I hereby appoint George R. Williams of St John's aforesaid Commission Merchant, Executor of this my last will and testament.

  1. I give devise, and bequeath to Majorie Redstone Cousens, my Freehold land and dwelling now occupied by me, and known as "The Cottage" together with all household furniture and effects therein contained.
  2. I give, devise, and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate unto my adopted son Ethelbert G. Clayton Cousens, if living, if not, to his children equally, after paying for all Funeral and Testamentary expenses, which must be paid promptly by my executor.
  3. As Executrix of the will of my late husband, Nicholas L. Cousens, I hereby make known to all men, that the Property mentioned in the said will of the late Nicholas L. Cousens, Clause 7, the fourteenth word, viz:- "FREEHOLD" should read "LEASEHOLD", in accordance with lease held from Diocesan Synod, under date of October 30th. 1902.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8th day of March A.D. Nineteen hundred and twenty four.
