In re
Johanna Connors deceased.
This is the last will and Testament
of me Johanna Connors of Harbor Grace Newfoundland. I give, devise and
bequeath to my son Patrick Connors and my daughter Margaret
Daly that
piece of Land situated on the south side of Lady Pond Road, and known
as “Wiseman’s to be divided equally between them. I also
give devise and bequeath to my son Patrick Connors that parcel of Land
situated on the west of Death Hill Road and known as “Lahys field.
Also I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Daly that parcel
of land bounded on the north by Farrells Land and on the East by Moore’s
Lane and known as “Moores Field”
Also I give devise
and bequeath to my son Patrick Connors all that parcel of Land situated
south of Lady Pond Road and known as “Adam’s” together
with the house thereon to be his undivided. Also I give and bequeath
to my son Patrick Connors all that parcel of land called the “Marsh” and
bounded by Wells Land on the south, by Farrells on the East and by Lahy’s
on the west. I also give devise and bequeath to my son Patrick
Connors the dwelling House, stable and all the cattle and utensils in the said
stable at my death and all the furniture in the dwelling House, reserving
my bed and bedding for Mary Connors daughter of my son Patrick
Connors.
Also
I give and bequeath to my son Patrick and my daughter Margaret
Daly to
be divided equally between them my share of the undivided land of my
late husband Michael Connors. Also I give and bequeath
to my son Patrick
Connors and Margaret Daly to be divided equally
between them all that parcel of land situated on the south side of Harbor
Grace bounded by
Hayes’ land on the west Burke to
the north; and by Shangens land
to the East. I appoint James Wells executor of this
my will. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this ninth day of
November in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and Four Johanna
her x mark Connors Signed by the said Testator Johanna
Connors in our presence who in her
presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribe
our names as witnesses J. T. Lawton James
