Will of John J. Coaker, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 pages 153 & 154 probate year 1930

IN RE.                DECEASED

JOHN J. COAKER

This is the last will and testament of me, John J. Coaker of St John's Newfoundland, road inspector.
I appoint my wife Susannah Coaker sole executrix of this my will.
I will and bequeath all my property goods and effects whatsoever of which I die possessed to my said wife for her use and benefit during her lifetime. Should my said wife need to sell any property for her maintenance and support she can sell her own property at the Goulds and after wards the tenantable house in St. John's. It is my wish she endeavour to live on the income of my property in St John's without disposing of same if she can do so.
Upon the death of my said wife, my house at 32 Mullock Street shall go with my workshops stable and garage to my son, John Edward Coaker. The two houses remaining shall go as follows, the one at 30 Mullock Street shall be divided equally between Ella Coaker and Viola Andrews and the house on William Street shall be divided between Lizzie Cook and Louisa Coaker.
As to the residue of my estate after the payment of my just debs funeral and testamentary expenses including death duties there shall be paid to each of my said daughter on the death of my wife the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) and the balance then remaining shall be divided equally between my said son and four daughters namely one fifth each.
Witness my hand at St John's this sixteenth day of April A.D. 1929.

Louise my daughter is to live in our house No 32 Mullock Street. She (Louise) is to have the two rooms as long as she lives but if she marries then she will give up her two rooms. Edward pays all taxes while Louise is living with him. Edward does not pay Louise one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00). All my Lodge Money and insurance goes to my wife also my shares in mines and sealing steamers go to my wife and after her death go to my children alive. There are Four Hundred dollars ($400.00) in the workshops business between Hobbs and Withycombe that goes to my wife and interest of same and after her death goes to the children. My Ford car is my wifes, also all farm machinery and Ford Truck. The sideboard is Edwards, glass case Louise, book case Viola's, over ??? Lizzies and desk Edwards.
The remainder of furniture to be divided equally among all children.
