Last will and Testament
of Shannon M. Clift
of St. John's Merchant Deceased.

This is the last will and Testament of me Shannon M. Clift of St. John's in the island of Newfoundland merchant - after the payment of my lawful debts and liabilities I give devise and bequeath to my mother Jane Sydney Clift all and whatsoever money property and effects of which I may die possessed - whether the same be now vested in me or of which I may hereafter become possessed or in any way interested to have and to hold the same for her own absolute use and disposal. And I appoint my said mother Jane Sydney Clift to be executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this tenth day of July A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine Shannon M. Clift Signed published and declared in the presence of us who present at the same time with the said testator and in his presence as well as in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Thomas B. Clift J. Augustus Clift.
