Will of Mary Clarke from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 85 probate year 1927

In re
    MARY CLARKE.     DECEASED.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, Mary Clarke of St. John's, Married Woman.

  1. I revoke all Wills heretofore by me made.
  2. I appoint James A. W. W. McNeily of St. John's aforesaid, Solicitor, Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
  3. I give, devise and bequeath unto my said executor, everything of which I shall die possessed, whether real, personal or chattels real, Upon Trust:-
    (a) to pay all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses.
    (b) to sell and dispose of my dwelling house on Barren Street and out of the proceeds thereof, after payment of all expenses in connection with the same, to pay to my husband, John Clare the sum of one two hundred dollars and to my brother, Patrick the sum of one hundred dollars, to Molly Ryan daughter of my brother William fifty dollars and to Pridie Ryan daughter of my brother Michael fifty dollars and all the rest, residue and remainder of the proceeds of the sale of the said dwelling house to pay over to my sister, Ann Aspell and her son William Aspell, share and share alike.
  4. Touching my furniture and personal effects, I direct my executor to deliver to my husband, John Clare all the furniture, beds, bedding, carpets, pictures etc. contained in our bedroom, and to my brother Patrick all the bed bedding carpets pictures in his bedroom, and to deliver sell all the remainder of my furniture and effects to my sister, Ann Aspell and my nephew, William Aspell, Jointly for the benefit of my estate.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand this 1st day of August A.D. 1927.
