Will of Fanny Clarke In re I Fanny Clark of Brigus Conception
Bay in the Island of Newfoundland being of sound mind do make this my
last will and Testament on this tenth day of March A.D. one thousand
nine hundred and three. To my two grandchildren Florence Hampton and
Sidney Bearns Hampton I do give and bequeath equally to each all my personal
belongings that I may die possessed of and which now consists of Five
hundred dollars on deposit in the Bank of Montreal St. John’s;
an also the following goods and chattels being my own personal property
and enumerated as follows viz:- All my clothing Two Large trunks one
small trunk. Two Large baskets one Large Motto one picture All my enlarged
pictures Two small brackets two small vases one tool rack one coal vase
and shovel Two teapot cozies Two Lamp mats one large Lamp Two brackets
one couch known as the one I bought from Mr John Clarke.
One set of white china with gold stripe. One dozen cups. One doz small
plates one slop basin one milk jug Three bread plates one dinner set
one doz. Large plates one meat dish Four vegetable dishes four glass
dishes one water Kettle one teapot one half doz silver spoons one picke
fork one sugar spoon one half doz. silver forks one half doz tea spoons.
Two picke dishes. Two salt stands Two silver coloured vases and a lot
of small pictures on the mantle Four china cups and two saucers. One
bread plate. One sugar basin known as my mothers one doz mahogany rings
all my window Lace and damask. My Knitted quilt and knitted toilet covers
all my pillow slips, sheets table cloths and patched quilts all the dishes
on the kitchen shelves. One sewing machine Three gold rings. Certified correct, (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
