In re
Mark Childs deceased.
This is the last will and Testament of me Mark Childs of Channel in
the Southern District of Newfoundland Fisherman. I appoint George
G. Cotter and Thomas Ford of Channel aforesaid Shop-keeper and Tide-waiter
respectively to be executors hereof. I give devise and bequeath unto
my dear wife Dorcas the sum of One Hundred Dollars per
Annum to be paid her quarterly from money to my credit in the Savings
Department of the Bank of Montreal at Birchy Cove Bay of Islands Newfoundland
but should my said wife Dorcas Marry again the said payment of one Hundred
Dollars per Annum shall immediately cease
I give devise and
bequeath unto my said wife Dorcas the absolute use of all my real estate
and personal property consisting of land dwelling house furniture Store
Fish stages Boats and nets wherever situate during her widowhood but
should my said wife die or marry again then the money shall be divided
equally between my three sons James Stanley and Esau and my daughter
Isabella. I also direct that in the event of the death or remarriage
of my said wife Dorcas the real estate and personal property here- in
before described shall be sold to the best advantage and the proceeds
divided equally between my three sons James Stanley and Esau and my daughter
Isabella and I hereby revoke all previous wills by me at any time heretofore
made and declare this writing to be my last will and Testament. In witness
whereof I hereunto set my hand this Eighth day of June in the year of
our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten Mark X (his mark)

previously to the said will being so signed by the Testaor it was read
over to and approved of by the said Testator in the presence of us who
in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribe
our names as witnesses Caroline Squaney Channel N.F. Married Woman John
Crane Acting Sergeant of Police Channel Nf.l.d.
