Will of Sarah Chidley from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 334 probate year 1928

In re     DECEASED.
    SARAH CHIDLEY.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me SARAH CHIDLEY of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Married Woman, I hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made. I appoint my son Leo Chidley the Executor of this my will. I give devise and bequeath my properties on Casey Street to my executor in trust for himself and my husband Joseph Chidley during the lifetime of my said husband. At the death of my said husband the said properties are to be my said son Leo's absolutely. Should my said son Leo die unmarried in the lifetime of my said husband then the interest of my said son Leo shall go to my two grandchildren Joseph and William White. I give my husband the sum of four hundred dollars ($400.00) to be his absolutely and I give and bequeath all the residue of my estate and effects to my said son Leo. IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John's aforesaid this sixth day of April Anno Domini One thousand nine hundred and twenty six.

SIGNED PUBLISHED AND DECLARED by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at her request and in her presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses attesting the due execution hereof, (the same having been first read over to the said Testatrix who signed the same by making her mark thereto
