Know all men by these presents that I James Stewart of Kings Cove in the island of Newfoundland for and in consideration of William Brown of Kings Cove in the island of Newfoundland this day gaurenteeing the payment of six hundred and fifty pounds currency to William Stewart, Kenneth McLea ? And John McGregor payable in four years in yearly installments of one hundred and sixty two pounds, ten shillings on or before the last day of November each year. For the like below mentioned being the consideration money accepted from James Stewart and Michael Murphy by the said William Stewart, Kenneth McLea and John McGregor as full payment of all their claim against the aforesaid James Stewart and Michael Murphy under the firm Stewart and Murphy of Kings Cove have this day bargained and sold by these presents do bargain and sell all my right title and interest in the following articles to the said William Brown for his said gaurantee above mentioned to the said William Stewart, Kenneth McLea, and John McGregor . To wit all my right title and interest in all outstanding debts whatsoever due on this date to James Stewart and Michael Murphy all shop and store property now in possion, all boats and craft viz Boat keels, the boat now in possion of Michael McGrath, Boat now in possesion of Jas Aylward all the fifteen seal nets with the ??? belonging to them Two ??? in my possesion all property in stage and store not above mentioned together with all my remaining property compring of of Dwelling house, household furniture outhouse gardens and appurtances thereonto belonging. James Stewart sealed & delivered I do hereby certify that the deed of which the foregoing is a true and correct recorded copy ????? before me at Kings Cove in the district of Bonavista on the tenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and fifty four by James stewart Transcriber notes This James Stewart was the son in law of the William Brown mentioned in this document, James Stewart was married to Rebecca Brown daughter of William Brown
