Vol. 18 Page 104 This is to certify that at the request of William Penny and Sons of the South side of Carbonear, I proceeded to their Room and admeasured the same which is as follows four hundred and twenty yards, East & West by the water side, two hundred yards NNE and SS West from the waterside by Walter Walsh's fence to the Eastward and two hundred yards NNE and S.S. West from the water side on the West bounds, which is by William Penny Senior's fence, and four hundred and twenty yards East and West on the South, bounded by the woods, two Houses and two Gardens. The above Premises has been in the Possession of the said William Penny and Sons thirteen years and a half. The foregoing is a true copy taken from the original instrument of writing exhibited for enrolment and recorded here at the request of William Penny this eleventh day of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty five. By order of the Surrogate
