Volume 17, page 117, 1786 Bill of Sale from Elizabeth Knight to Francis Ferris of Carbonear

THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty fifth day of November 1786 Between Elizabeth Knight of Carbonear of the one part and Francis Ferrers of Carbonear of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Knight for and in consideration of the sum of Ten pounds Thirty?? Paid whereof the said Elizabeth Knight do acknowledge for every part and parts thereof doth aquit?? ??? and discharge the said Francis Ferrers his Heirs Executors administrators &Assigns for ever & by these ??? hath granted Bargained & Sold and sell over by the Presents in full and ??asable possession. All that meadow bound now in possession of John Barry?? As it now stands and All that meadow bound situate on the Back of Francis Ferrer aforesaid Back?? Meadows for the sum above mentioned & the said Elizabeth Knight do hereby make over unto the said Francis Ferrer his Heirs Executors administrators and assigns for ever the above meadows in quit?? & Pacible?? possession without an enohane?? or molestation of the said Elizabeth Knight or any other Persons claiming any right title on the said Premises whereof hath Partus?? Have hereby sell their hands & seals as above date
