Volume 14, page 254, 1804 Bill of Sale from G. & J. Kemp to Bransfield John & Richard of Crocker Cove

Know all men whom it may concern that I Henry Corbin Watt, agent for the ??? being for George & James Kemp & co. of Poole, merchants trading to ??? on Business at Carbonear in the Bay of Conception Newfoundland, for and in consideration of the Sum of One Hundred & Sixty Eight pounds of lawful money of Great Britain on or before the first day of October 1806 to me to be paid by John Bransfield & Richard Bransfield of Carbonear aforesaid planter have bargained sold & delivered & by ??? present do bargain sell & deliver unto the said John Bransfield & Richard Bransfield all that Fishing Room & Plantation situate on the North side of Crocker Cove in the Bay of Conception consisting of a good Dwelling House, Store, Cellar, two store Houses a large meadow, a large garden together with all singular the ways, paths, waters, ??? and appurtenances to the same belonging or in otherwise appertaining being bounded on the North by the woods on the East by John Cadawms(?) lands & Daniel Canlan House on the South by the sea and on the West by Terrance Kennedys plantation. To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained premises unto the said John Bransfield & Richard Bransfield their Heirs & Executors and administrators for ever. And I the said Henry C. Watts for them the said Geo. & Jams. Kemp & co. their Heirs executors & administrators the aforesaid bargained premises unto the said Jno Bransfield & Richard Bransfield their Heirs Executrs & administrators against the lawful claims of all persons shall & will for ever by these presents depend. In Witness when of I have here unto set my hand & seal this fifth day of December in the Year of our Lord one Thousand eight Hundred & four.
