Know all men by these presents that I Charles Ayles of Bonavista Newfoundland fisherman for and inconsideration of nineteen pounds current money of this island to me in hand paid and one fat cow by Michael Ryan of Bonavista Newfoundland fisherman at and before the delivery of these presents reciept where of I hereby acknowledge have bargained , sold, granted and confirmed and by these presents do bargain sell grant and confirm unto the said Michael Ryan all my right title and interest in a certain plot of ground situate in Bonavista aforesaid bounded on the West by the ??? road on the North by John Connells meadow on the east by Henry Groves meadow and on the South by Groves lane. To have and to hold all and singular the said plot of ground by these presents bargained sold granted and confirmed unto the said Michael Ryan to his own proper use and behoof his executors, administrators and assigns for ever and I said Charles Ayles for myself executors, administrators and assigns all and singular the said plot of ground unto the said Michael Ryan his executors, administrators and assigns and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrent and forever defend by these presents of which plot of ground I the said Charles Ayles have put the Michael Ryan in full possesion on in ??? of the said plot of ground herein before particularized at the seal and delivery here of.
In witness as hereof I have here onto affixed my hand and seal at Bonavista Newfoundland this seventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
