Will of Sara Eleanor Cave Browne-Cave from Newfoundland will books volume 14 pages 320-321 probate year 1928

    SARA ELEANOR CAVE- BROWNE-CAVE.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me volume 14 pages 320-321 probate year 1928 of Chesham Bois Place Chesham Bois in the County of Buckingham this Twenty eighth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty seven I hereby revoke all wills made by me heretofore I appoint my Husband CECIL BECKWITH CAVE-BROWNE-CAVE to be my Executor and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

  • I GIVE AND BEQUEATH to my nephew Tom MacLaren one hundred pounds
  • to my nephew David MacLaren one hundred pounds
  • to my nephew Richard Murray Jones one hundred pounds
  • to, my Niece Elspeth Hooper one hundred pounds
  • to my Niece Margaret MacLaren one hundred pounds
  • to Cecilia d, Anyers Willis fifty pounds
  • to Ethel Everard fifty pounds
  • to Margaret Outram thirty pounds
  • and to Jocelyn Charlesworth Turner twenty five pounds
  • and to Edith Mary Armand the sum of fifty pounds

As a little token to my husband Cecil Beckwith Cave-Browne-Cave four hundred pounds and I request him with sum to carry out a wish which I have expressed in a letter to him enclosed in this will I direct that all the above legacies shall be paid free of legacy duty and I GIVE AND BEQUEATH all the residue of my property wheresoever and whatsoever unto Edith Mary Armand and Cecil Beckwith Cave-Browne-Cave whom I appoint as Trustees Upon Trust to pay from the income thereof the sum of thirty pounds per annum to my Cousin Mary Grant for her life and the remainder of the income from my estate to and for the use of my dear Husband Cecil Beckwith Cave-Browne-Cave for his life and on the death of Mary Greet and Cecil Beckwith Cave-Browne-Cave whichever last shall occur to sell and convert into money all my property of every description whatsoever and wheresoever remaining in the hands of my Trustees for the time being and pay over in equal portions the same absolutely to my nephews or nieces above named and should any of my nephews or nieces have predeceased this division of my property and have left children at the time of this final division then such child or children of such deceased nephew or niece shall receive the portion the parent would have received had he or she been alive per stirpes and not per capita I direct that in the case of the death disability or resignation of either of my trustees that a second trustee shall be appointed so that there shall be never less than two trustees and such trustees shall be chosen from among the number of my above named nephews and nieces. I further declare that my trustees are at liberty to retain any of the investments that I hold at the time of my death that they may wish and I declare that no liability shall attach to them for so continuing to hold such securities.
