Will of Rev. George William Terry Carwithen Last Will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of me George William Terry Carwithen Rector of Ashpoington in the County of Devon & residing at Ashpoington House in the said County. I give to my son Reginald Terry Carwithen my best silver coffee pot, four large silver table spoons, four large silver forks and four silver tea spoons. - also I give unto my two daughters Lydia Mary and Louisa Carwithen conjointly six large silver table spoons, four large silver forks and six silver tea spoons - my daughter Lydia Mary having already as her property a silver tea pot and silver milk jug together with the piano and my daughter Louisa having also in her possession as her property a silver teapot & milk jug. Moreover I give to my son Reginald an annuity of one hundred pounds per annum by half yearly payments and to each of my two daughters an annuity of one hundred and fifty pounds per annum by half yearly payments so long as they remain unmarried but in the event of marriage the married one shall receive one hundred pounds per annum during the term of her natural life & the unmarried one shall continue to receive the aforesaid on one hundred fifty pounds annuity. And I declare and direct that the aforesaid legacies and annuities shall be accepted by my son Reginald Terry & my two daughters in full for all moneys and claims to which they may have been entitled. - subject to the above legacies and annuities & my just debts which shall be paid out of my estate I give devise bequeath and appoint all my lands & hereditaments and real estate and all my plate pictures and books furniture & linen together with the china wine liquors and other household shares and personal estate and effects of every description not hereinbefore bequeathed unto & to the use of my eldest son Captain George Terry Luder Carwithen of Her Majestys 25th Regt.. his heirs executors administrators & assigns & I appoint my said son George Terry Luder Carwithen sole executor of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy three. Signed and declared by the said George Wm. Terry Carwithen in the presence of us and of each other - Henry Miller - Albert Worthy - I George Terry Carwithen devise and bequeath to my beloved son in Carnose, British Columbia, Reginald
Terry Carwithen the sum of 100 one hundred per annum out of the proceeds of
my property in quarterly instalments payable by my son George Terry
Luder Carwithen & to
his wife during her widowhood at & from his death. In faith and testimony whereof these Letters Testimonial are issued and the sealing of these presents this fifteenth day of November 1893 - (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
