Will of William Carrigan from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 441 probate year 1929 In re DECEASED. Last Will and Testament of William Carrigan, of Torbay Road, in the Electoral District of Saint John's East, Newfoundland. IN THE NAME OF GOD. AMEN. I William Carrigan, being sound in mind, but weak in body, do hereby make my last will and testament. To Wit;_ To my wife Bridget Carrigan I give and bequeath that piece or parcel of Land
upon which my House is built, situated at Logy Bay, in the Electoral District
of Saint John's East. The house also, with all its fittings and appurtenances
I also bequeath to her. This house was given to me by Michael Dyer, according
to the injunctions of his late fathers will. It was the expressed wish of Michael
Dyer Sr. that his son Michael should give the land to me, although he did not
state the fact in writing, in his will, and now being in full possession of
that land, I hereby bequeath it at my death to my wife Bridget Carrigan,
as above stated. CORRECT (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
