Will of Johanna Carew In re This is the last will and Testament of me, Johanna Carew, of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, Widow. I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and I appoint my daughter Johanna Mackey, wife of William Mackey of St. John’s aforesaid, to be the executrix of this my will I give and bequeath to my said daughter Johanna Mackey all the property of whatsoever kind I may die possessed including my land and dwelling house on Barnes Road, the furniture in the said house, and any money of which I may die possessed. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this tenth day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven - Johanna her x mark Carew - Signed. Published. and Declared by the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in presence of us, both being present at the same time who at her request and in her presence hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses attesting the due execution thereof, the said will having been first read over and explained to the said testatrix who appeared perfectly to understand the same and who signed the same by making her mark thereto in our presence.
