MICHAEL BYRNE

The Last Will and Testament
Dated at Brigus
This 26th day of April A.D. 1930

I Michael Byrne of Brigus Fisherman do hereby make my last will and Testament. And in sound mind and memory.
I will and bequeath half of my property to my sister Mary ellen Murphy residing at 104 Hudson Street Summerville Mass United States of America my sister Mary Ellen Murphy is to give to Brigus Roman Catholic Church the sum of Fifty Dollars $50.00 for Masses for the repose of the souls of her father Mother and Brothers out of her share of the property.
I will and bequeath the remaining half of my property to my three neices Mary Ann, Alice & Rita Byrne and they are to have Fifty Dollars $50.00 given to the Roman Catholic Church of Brigus for Masses for the repose of the souls their Grand Father Grand Mother Father & Uncles.
All moneys if any after Im buried and my Funeral expenses paid will be divided equally between my three neices and deposited in the Bank in each ones name. My household effects is to be sold and a Headstone purchased and $20.00 Twenty dollars given to the Church at Brigus for four years dues at five dollars per year. If any money left after Headstone and Mas dues paid it is to be equally divided between my three neices Mary Ann Alice and Rita.
Im to have a requiem Mass for my Burial Mass.
The money belonging to my self in the Government Savings Bank at St. John's is to be drawn and I bequeath the sum of Twenty dollars from this money to my cousin Bridget Burke.
I appoint Charles Joseph Power the sole executor of my estate who is to receive five percent 5% for his trouble & expenses
