James Byrne of Twillingate
Merchant deceased.
Durrells Arm
Twillingate Nov. 16: 1893 -
This is the last
will and Testament of me James Byrne of Durrells Arm Twillingate. I leave to
Isabella Stuckless my Housekeeper an annuity or yearly sum of Forty /40/ Dollars
during her life as long as she remains unmarried. I also leave to Belvedere Orphanage
Forty /40/ Dollars. I also leave to Villa Nova orphanage Forty /40/ Dollars.
I also leave Forty dollars for masses for my soul. The residue to be equally
divided between my Brother William Byrne and sister Elizabeth
Byrne. In case
the said William Byrne or Elizabeth Byrne should die without issue his or her
part to be equally divided between the children of my deceased sister Mary
Howlett when they arrive at the age of Twenty one years - (sgd) James Byrne
I certify the foregoing to be a correct
copy of the last will and Testament of James Byrne deceased
