Will of William Burke Last Will and Testament of In the name of God. I William Burke of St. Mary's do hereby make this the following my last will and Testament. First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Ellen Burke all my right title and interest of all the property in House Land and chattels which I William Burke at present enjoy and possess to have and to hold the same during the term of her Ellen Burke's natural life and then to leave the same to my beloved children in the manner and form it seems most conducive to my beloved children's interest and this I do sign in the presence of the undermentioned witnesses at St. Marys Newfoundland this the 10th day of April 1863. Signed William Burke. Witnesses (sgd) Michael Fagan. (Sgd) Michael Mahoney. (Sgd) Patrick Walsh. Signed. Sealed pronounced and declared in the presence of the above witnesses. I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of William Burke deceased Registrar (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
