Will of Lydia Burgess In re This is the last will and testament of me Lydia Burgess of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland, widow, I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Laura and to my son Arthur all and singular whatsoever lands goods monies chattels and effects I may die possessed to hold the same equally for ever And I hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter Laura as sole executrix of this my said last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this sixth day of December Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and thirteen Lydia Burgess Signed by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us, who present at the same time in her presence and in the presence of each other have at her request hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
