IN RE                    DECEASED.
George Henry Bull

I George Henry Bull of the Badminton Club 100 Piccadilly in the County of London and of Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco a Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) in the Indian Medical Service hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament.

  1. I APPOINT my wife Annie Bull and RICHARD WILLIAM BOWRY BUCKLAND of 35 Spring Gardens in the County of London Solicitor (hereinafter referred to as "my trustees") to be the EXECUTORS and TRUSTEES of this my will.
  2. I BEQUEATH the following specific legacies in each case free of all death duties, that is to say.
    (a) To my sister Mary Edith Bull all of my Minatures of my parents and relatives and one half in value of my Silver Trophies to be selected by my trustees.
    (b) To my said wife all the remainder of my Silver Plate and Plated articles including my Tea Sets and Tea Tray and all other personal chattels And I express the hope (without attempting to impose any trust or obligation upon her) that my said wife will give such keepsakes as she shall think fit to my said sister and any old friends.
  3. I BEQUEATH the following pecuniary legacies in each case free of free of all death duties;- To my said wife Annie Bull Three hundred pounds which I desire should be paid to her in priority to all other legacies as soon as possible after my decease to meet immediate necessities.
    To my said sister Mary Edith Bull Two hundred pounds for immediate necessities.
    To my grand nephew Joseph Anthony Bull one hundred pounds which I desire (if my grand nephew shall at the time of my death be under the age of twenty one years) shall be paid to his Guardian for the time being to be expended if desirable for the immediate benefit or education of my said grand nephew And I declare that the receipt of such guardian for the said legacy shall be a sufficient discharge to my trustees.
  4. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all the remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever including all property over which at the time of my death I may have any power of appointment or disposition by will to my trustee UPON TRUST to call in and convert the same into money but with full power to postpone such calling and conversion for as long as my trustees shall think fit and with full power also to retain for as long as they shall think fit any part of my estate in the same state of investment as it may be in at the time of my death and to stand possessed of the proceeds of such sale and realization after payment thereout of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and the legacies bequeathed by this my will or any codicil hereto and the duty on all legacies given free of duty UPON TRUST to invest the same and to pay the income thereof as to one half to my wife the said Annie Bull and stand possessed of my residuary estate UPON TRUST after the death of the survivor of my said wife and my said sister to divide the same into twenty equal shares and to pay such shares to the following persons in the following proportions;-
    (a) To my niece Elizabeth Violet Matthews and her children eight shares in the following proportions namely;- two shares to my said niece, two shares to each of her two sons and two shares to her three daughters equally between them Provided always that if my said niece or any of her said children shall predecease me or my said wife and sister the share of the person so predeceasing shall go to and be equally divided among those of them who shall be living at the period of distribution
    (b) To the five daughters of my late brother Ralph Anthony Bull eight shares in the following proportions viz; four of such shares shall go to my niece Jane Bull and one of such shares to each of her four sisters Provided always that if any of my said nieces shall predecease me or my said wife and sister the share of the person so predeceasing shall go to and be divided equally among those of them who shall be living at the time of distribution.
    (c) To my niece Patience Cheston two shares And I declare that if my said niece shall predecease me or my said wife and sister the said two shares shall go to and be divided equally between such of her children as shall be living at the time of distribution.
    (d) To my sister-in-law Hilda Bull one share and if she shall predecease me or my said wife and sister the said share shall go to my said nephew Joseph Anthony Bull.
    (e) To my said grand nephew Joseph Anthony Bull one share and if he shall predecease me or my said wife and sister the said share shall go and belong to the said Hilda Bull And I declare that if any beneficiary under this my will shall be under the age of twenty one years at the date of my death my trustees shall pay the share belonging to such beneficiary to his or her guardian and the receipt of such guardian shall be sufficient discharge for the money so paid.
  5. I DECLARE that the said RICHARD WILLIAM BOWAY BUCKLAND or any other Executor or trustee for the time being of this my will being a solicitor or other person engaged in any profession or business shall be entitled to charge and be paid all professional and other charges for any business or act done by him or his firm in connection with the trusts of this my will including any act which a executor or a trustee not being a solicitor or other professional person would have done personally.

IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand to this and the two preceding sheets of paper this 14th day of August one thousand nine hundred and twenty nine.
