Will of Thomas Buckley from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 100 probate years 1887 and 1907

The last will and Testament
of Thomas Buckley of Saint
John's Cooper.

I hereby will and bequeath to my dear wife Catherine Buckley all my worldly goods and possessions whatsoever to have and to hold during the term of her natural life after which I will that the same be equally divided between my two sons John and James Buckley with the following reservation that is to say that within three months after my death the following bequests shall be paid out of my estate to the person and for the purposes hereafter mentioned.

To the Reverend Michael Morris the sum of fifteen pounds currency to be applied to the benefit of the orphans of Villa Nova.
To the Lady Superior of St. Michaels Orphanage Belvedere the sum of fifteen pounds currency to be applied for the benefit of the orphans of that institution.
To the Revd John Scott five pounds currency.
To the Revd Patrick Delaney five pounds currency.
To the Revd. Michael Fitzgerald five pounds currency.
To the Revd Michael F. Howley five pounds currency for the purposes of masses for the repose of my soul and I appoint my said wife Catherine Buckley to be my sole executrix.
