Will of Mary Grace Browne, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 160 probate year 1930

IN RE.                     DECEASED

MARY GRACE BROWNE

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, Amen.
This is the last will and testament of me, Mary Grace Browne, Morton Cottage Rennies Mill Road, St John's Newfoundland, and I will and bequeath as follows.

  1. That all my just and lawful debts be paid.
  2. I also will that all my funeral and testamentary expenses be paid.
  3. I bequeath to my husband in trust for my children who may survive me, all my interest in house No 42 Rennies Mill Road, Hearn & Company Building and the Newfoundland Brewery Land, together with my interest in the furniture at 42 Rennies Mill Road.
  4. I bequeath to my aunt Mrs Agnes Tobin the sum of five hundred dollars.
  5. To Mary and Elsie Doyle my cousins two hundred & fifty dollars each.
  6. To my sister Alice I bequeath my gold watch and my diamond ring (my mothers)
  7. To my sister Marjorie I bequeath my wrist watch and a pair of brass candlesticks.
  8. All the rest of my jewellery, my wedding presents and personal properties I bequeath to my children.
  9. All the rest of my estate real and personal I bequeath to my husband in trust for my children. I bequeath one hundred dollars for masses to be said for the repose of my soul.
  10. I bequeath my Bible to Madame McDermott Religious of the Sacred Heart.
  11. All my interest in my fathers estate as yet undivided I bequeath to my husband in trust for my children.

Signed with my own hand and written in my own hand writing this 2nd day of June 1929.
