Will of Sparkhall Brown from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 522 probate year 1931

IN RE                    DECEASED.
Sparkhall Brown.

This is the last will and testament of me Sparkhall Brown of Annamore Sydney Avenue Blackrock County of Dublin made this eighth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty nine
I hereby revoke all wills heretofore made by me I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH unto my dear wife Gertrude Jane Brown everything that I possess. In the event however of my wife predeceasing me I BEQUEATH all stocks and shares belonging to me at the time of my decease and all my possessions at Annamore Sydney Avenue Blackrock to my son Alexander Henry Sparkhall Brown and my daughter Winnifred Kathleen Monypeny in equal shares. If my son and daughter should be unable to agree as to the equitable division of the aforementioned property the said property shall be sold and the net proceeds of the sale divided between my son and daughter in equal amounts. I BEQUEATH all money which is in my possession either in cash or in a Bank at the time of my death to my son. I BEQUEATH my interests in the premises 65 and 70 St. Stephen's Green Dublin and in the business of tutor (Rosse College) carried on there by me with all the furniture equipment and other effects to my son for his own use but charged with an annual payment to my daughter (in quarterly installments) of a sum equivalent to one third of the net profits of the preceding year it being provided that if my son devotes the whole or part of his time to carrying on the work of Rosse College he shall be entitled to charge a sum for his services not exceeding five hundred pounds per year in calculating the net profits. If he sells his interest in Rosse College he shall pay my daughter two fifths of the net profits of the sale after all the liabilities of the College have been discharged. SIGNED by the said Sparkhall Brown the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his request in his sight and presence and in the sight and presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
