Will of Hannah Brown from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 569 probate year 1929

In re     DECEASED.
HANNAH BROWN.

Will and testament of Mrs. Edward Brown.

This is to certify that I, Hannah Brown, widow of Edward Brown of Bight, Twillingate district, Nfld. being of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of life do this nineteenth day of September one thousand nine hundred and twenty seven, make this my last will and testament, in manner and form following:- That is to say.

At this date there is an amount of between nine hundred and one thousand dollars in the Savings Department No 7647, of the Bank of Nova Scotia St. John's, which is to be utilized during my lifetime by my son Arthur George, for my support etc, if after my decease any amount of this is left it is to be equally divided between my two sons, Arthur George, and Edward. I therefore authorise my son Arthur George to have full power to draw this money from the Bank above mentioned at his own discretion.

Should my son Edward predecease my son Arthur, the whole amount remaining in the Bank must go to Arthur George. Should both predecease me, it is to be equally divided among all my grandchildren.

I hereby nominate and appoint my son Arthur George as the executor of this my last will and testament and revoke all former and other wills by me made and do declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said Hannah Brown have hereunto set my hand and seal at Botwood the day and year first above written.

Signed sealed and declared by the said testator Hannah Brown as and for her last will and testament, in the presence of us, who at her request, and in the presence of each other have hereunto set and subscribed our names as witnesses.
