Will of Sophia Brine from Newfoundland will books volume 7 page 271 probate year 1903 The last will of Sophia Brine late of This is the last will and Testament of me Sophia Brine of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland, Spinster. I appoint Frank D. Lilly of St. John's aforesaid, solicitor, the executor of this my will. I give and bequeath unto James E. Barnes, son of my nephew Robert C. Barnes the sum of four hundred dollars. I give and bequeath unto John B. Mitchell, Harold Mitchell and Marguerita Mitchell children of my niece Anna M. Mitchell the sum of two hundred dollars each. I give and bequeath unto George Wilson, son of my niece Sophia A. Wilson, the sum of two hundred dollars. I give and bequeath unto my nieces Anna M. Mitchell, Louisa Barnes and Sophia A. Wilson all the rest residue and remainder of the estate of which I shall die possessed, in equal shares. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal to this my will on the nineteenth day of January Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and three. Sophia Brine. Signed by the above named Sophia Brine as her last will in the presence of us both, being present at the same time, who, in her presence and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names, as witnesses.
