Will of William Brien
from Newfoundland will books volume 13 page 366 probate year 1926

In re
      WILLIAM BRIEN.    DECEASED.

In the name of God Amen I William Brien of Cape Broyle being sick in Body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to God Do make this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following
1st I bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Brien half my dwelling House for her natural life & after her death my beloved daughter Mary is to hold possession of said half of House & half of Land & I bequeath to my beloved Son Joseph Brien the other Half of my dwelling House (that is the east end) of said House & Half of my Land & I bequeath to my beloved Son Richard Brien the other half of the land (that is the land he holds at present) & I bequeath to my beloved Grand Children John & William Johnstone a piece of Land on the N.W. Side of the River And I bequeath to my two Sons Richard & Joseph my Fishing Room And declaring this to be my last Will & Testament making void all all former Wills & Testaments made by me
Given under my hand & Seal this 12th day of May 1893
