Will of Michael Berney from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 75 probate year 1886 Last will and Testament of the In the name of God Amen. I Michael Berney Catholic Clergyman of Burin Newfoundland think it well to make my will and arrange my temporal affairs as follows First I will and bequeath to my relative Mary Brien whatever little money I possess to dispose of in the way I have directed her I will that my meadow in Ship Cove my cattle my books and furniture etc etc be sold and their produce given to the said Mary Brien. It is my will and I hereby appoint my nephew Wm. Michael Berney of St. John's with the said Mary Brien to be executors of this my last will and Testament as witness my hand this 24th day of April 1871. Michael Berney
