In re
      EMMA BENNING.    DECEASED.

Lawn March 13th. 1922.

In the name of God. Amen.
I Emma Benning of Lawn, in the District of Burin, Newfoundland, Housekeeper, being of sound mind, do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

1st I hereby appoint my husband Joseph Benning of Lawn, to be my executor of this my last will, directing my said executor to pay all my lawful debts out of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

2nd After payment of my said debts, I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate which I may now or hereafter be possessed of or interested in, in manner following; that is to say:

3rd I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved husband Joseph Benning my Government Bond NOC 3266 for ($500.00) Five Hundred Dollars for his sole use during his natural life and upon his decease to my children and their heirs, respectively, share and share alike.

4th I give and bequeath to my beloved children now living, namely: Marie White, at present residing in Addison, Michigan, Susanah M. Frecker at present residing in Bridgetown, N.S. Clement J. Benning and James J. Benning both residing at Montreal P.Q. Gertrude H. Benning, residing at New York and also the wife and four children of my beloved son Lionel, deceased these children at present living in Brooklyn N.Y. whatever money I have on deposit, in the Royal Bank of Canada, at St. John’s, share and share alike, one share to each of my children and one share for the four grand children and wife.

5th Should I die possessed of any jewelry it will be found in my personal safe with tickets attached, for whosoever it is destined for.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this thirteenth day of March, in the year of Our Lord One thousand nine hundred and twenty two, Signed, Published and declared by the said Emma Benning the testator, as and for her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, both present together at the same time, and in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution thereof.
