Will of Maria H. Beenlan from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 530-531 probate year 1891.
( This name is spelled Beenlan in the will index and Beenlen and Beenlan in the will.)

Last will and Testament
of Maria H. Beenlen
of St. John's Spinster Deceased.

This is the last will and testament of me Maria H. Beenlan of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland Spinster. First. I give devise and bequeath to my nephew George F. Hayward of St. John's aforesaid accountant his executors administrators and assigns the sum of eleven hundred and sixty dollars ($1160.00) Second. I give devise and bequeath to nephew Augustus O. Hayward of same place Queen's Counsel his executors administrators and assigns the sum of seven hundred and sixty dollars ($760.00) Third I give devise and bequeath to my nephew Henry E. Hayward also of same place merchant his executors administrators and assigns the sum of seven hundred and sixty dollars. Fourth. I give devise and bequeath to Sarah Ellen Hayward (now in England) widow of my late nephew James I. Hayward her executors administrators and assigns the sum of three hundred and forty dollars Fifth. All the residue and remainder of my estate of every description and kind whatsoever I give devise and bequeath to my said three nephews George F. Hayward, Augustus O. Hayward and Henry E. Hayward their and each of their executors administrators and assigns to be divided equally amongst them share and share alike. Lastly I appoint the said George F. Hayward executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this twelfth day of June A.D. one thousand eight hundred and ninety Maria H. Beenlen Signed by the said testatrix in our presence who at her request and in the presence of each other have hereto set our names as witnesses on the day and year and place above written. Charles J. Goodridge. Jas A. Branscombe I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will of Maria Beenlen deceased.
