Will of Samuel Batten In re I Samuel Batten Fisherman of Port de Grave, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills, heretofore at any time by me made. I hereby appoint Matthew Patten and Isaac Hussey both Fishermen of Port de Grave to be the executors of my will I hereby direct my said executors to pay all my just debts, funeral and other expenses, as soon as possible after my decease. I hereby bequeath to my daughter Fannie Jane Lidston all I possess, and direct that she is to be support and care for my sister Annie Batten while she lives and after her decease my daughter Fannie Jane Lidston becomes sole heir to the residue of my estate. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand this twenty fourth day of December 1915. Samuel Batten X his mark. Signed sealed and declared by said Samuel Batten, as for his last will & testament in the presence of us present at the same time, who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution hereof.
