The petition of Bertram Bastow, of St. John's, Truckman, sets forth as follows:
Your petitioner prays that Letters of Administration of the estate of the deceased may be granted to him, and as in duty bound he will ever pray.
Dated at St. John's this 24th day of October, A. D. 1929.

I, Annie Thorne, hereby consent to the appointment of Bertram Bastow as Administrator (c.b.a. ??? cannot tell the letters) of the estate of my later father Ernest Augustus Bastow.

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ME, ERNEST AUGUSTUS BASTOW of St. John's, Newfoundland, Agent of the Society for the Protection of Animals. I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear wife Margaret Ann Bastow absolutely. And I appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my will.
