Last Will and Testament of
Michael Barrett of Holyrood
deceased.
Holyrood June 14th /97 In the name of God Amen
In
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred ninety seven I Michael
Barrett of Holyrood being very sick and weak in body but in sound mind and memory do
make this my last will and testament. first. I will and bequeath
to my beloved wife my dwelling house and all the piece of land atached to the
house bounded as follows by George Barrett to the North East and church property
to the south west to have and to hold untill her death and then after her death
she is to give the house and parcel of land atached to it to my son Daniel the boundary before mentioned my son Daniel
Barrett to have and to hold the
piece of land on Frys Branch road two acres more or less to have and to hold
without any hindrance from any party also a piece of land on the Salmonier
Road nine acres of it to be his untill death. I give and bequeath to my son
Rody John Barrett nine acres of the same property atached to it. Signed sealed
and delivered Philip Mullowney to be my executor of my last will and testament
(sgd) Michael his x mark Barrett. Witness our hands at Holyrood the day and
date before mentioned. Witness (sgd) John Kennedy. (Sgd) Philip
Mullowney Executor.
Holyrood March 24th/1901 A codicil. According to my will and Testament
my wife Margaret Barrett is to hand over all my property to Daniel
Barrett son Gerald Barrett after her death to be sole possessor until death. Signed
Michael x Barrett. Witness (sgd) John Kennedy. (Sgd) Philip
Mullowney executor)
this will to be read the day of my burial.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct
copy of the last will and Testament and Codicil of Michael Barrett deceased
