Will of Charles Barnes Last Will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of me Charles Barnes of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland made this sixteenth day of May A.D. 1894. First I give and bequeath unto my son William J. Barnes all the household furniture pictures and all the personal effects belonging to me. Unto my grandson Charles Barnes son of Henry Barnes I give my silver watch and I desire that any money in my possession at the time of my death shall be divided after payment of my funeral and other expenses amongst my grand daughters share and share alike and unless the land held by me situate near Belvidere Long Pond Road be previously disposed of by me I devise the same unto my said son William J. Barnes. Anna Louise Pope and Edward Francis Barnes share and share alike. And I appoint William J. Barnes aforesaid the executor of this my will. In witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my hand and declare the foregoing to be my last will and Testament (sgd) Chas Barnes Signed Published and declared by the said Testator in our presence who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribe ourselves as witnesses.
