Will of Benjamin Barbour Senior from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 623 probate year 1892 Last will and testament This is the last will and testament of Benjamin Barber of Inner Island Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. I hereby give and devise to my wife Rebecca Barber for her own use and benefit during life the sum of £2000 currency; after her death this money with interest if any or what remains of it to be divided equally among my children Joseph, William, George, Benjamin, Thomas, John, James, Edward, Samuel Keziah. I hereby appoint her the said Rebecca Barber sole executrix of this will. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand, or rather my mark on this the 2nd day of May 1887. (Sgd) Benjamin his x mark Barber. Signed by said Benjamin Barber in the presence of us, present at the time, who in his presence and in the presence of each other attest and subscribe our names as witnesses hereto.
