In re
Rosalie Badcock deceased.
I Rosalie Badcock of
Carbonear being of sound mind memory and understanding hereby make and
declare this to be my last will and testament. I give devise and bequeath
my Estate and property real and personal as follows.
First. I
give and bequeath to my daughters Nellie Soper and Fannie
Badcock the
dwelling house which I now occupy with its contents also the barn and
outhouses and live stock also all the lands in connection with the estate
except those which I hereafter bequeath
Secondly I give and
bequeath to my son Thomas Chancy that piece of land I own upon Water
Street Situated between the public wharf and land belonging to Captain
James Pike - also his choice of a building lot upon the property
which I now occupy.
Thirdly I give and bequeath to my son George the piece of land upon which the stable formerly stood situated in the
lane and north of property belonging to Mrs. Eugene Taylor measuring
30 feet North and South and 20 feet East and West provided he wishes
to erect a dwelling house thereon and he is not to sell this piece of
land without the consent of all my children
Fourthly - I give
and bequeath to my son William Hyington the property
which he now occupies
Lastly - I appoint my son Thomas Chancy the Executor
of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have signed
sealed published and declared this instrument to be my last will and
testament at Carbonear this 31st day of March A.D. 1909. Rosalie
Badcock The said Rosalie Badcock on said 31st day of March A.D. 1909 published and declared the foregoing as her last
will and testament and we at her request and in her presence and in presence
of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Richard
Baddcock Francis Taylor
