Will of Rev. Arthur Nightingale Antle from Newfoundland will books volume 7 pages 204-205 probate year 1902

The last Will of
Rev. Arthur N. Antle late of Botwoodville
Methodist Minister deceased.

In the name of God. Amen. I Arthur Nightingale Antle being now of sound mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of my body do give and dispose of my property in the following manner and form. First I give and bequeath to my mother Jane Antle the sum of seven hundred and forty five dollars $745.00 $665.00 of this will be paid to her by the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York at my death and $80 is deposited in the Savings Bank of the Government in St. John's Newfoundland Also to the said Jane Antle I give and bequeath my organ mirror pictures and all and everything which I own now in the house in which I now reside to be held and used by her in any way she pleases during the period of her natural life and at her decease what money may be in her possession and whatever is held by her this will is to be equally and mutually divided between my two brothers James John and William Antle.
I also give and bequeath to my nephew Arthur Nightingale Antle of Botwoodville Newfoundland, Planter my watch, bed and bedding all my books and the case in which the books are placed but in no case is he to take possession of any of these articles until after my mother's decease. Also I give and bequeath to the said Arthur N. Antle the sum of fifty dollars $50.00 to be paid to him at my decease.
Also I give and bequeath to my two nieces Jane Grace Antle and Mary Ann Antle twenty five dollars $25.00 each. I do this as a token of esteem and gratitude for the extreme kindness shown to me by them during my illness.
And I do hereby appoint my brother James John Antle and Rev. W. A. Palmer sole executors of this my last will and testament and I charge that in case either of them my executors demise another to be appointed by the living to fill the place of the one so demised and I do hereby utterly disallow and revoke and disannul all and every other former testament will legacy bequest executors attorney or attorneys by me in any way before named willed or bequeathed. Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two. Arthur Nightingale Antle (L.S.) Signed sealed and delivered by the said Arthur Nightingale Antle as his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names.
