Will of John Alcock Last will and Testament of In the name of God Amen. I John Alcock of Bay Roberts Fisherman being sound in mind & understanding, do on this second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety one make this my last will and testament as follows: I give to my wife Martha Alcock all that I possess, land cleared & uncleared dwelling house, cattle, household furniture & everything to be hers, to do as she wills with it; and inasmuch as my two sons Henry & Azariah left me without my consent I cut them off with a shilling each & further as my two daughters Selina & Sarah Jane are well provided for by marriage I also bequeath unto them one shilling each as their portion of my property. & I appoint William Bradbury of Stephen to be sole Executor of this my last will & I charge him to see it just & faithfully carried into effect (sgd) John his X mark Alcock. Signed Sealed and delivered by the said John Alcock in our presence and in the presence of each other this second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety (sgd) Adriel R. Hierlihy. (Sgd) Joseph Russell. Witnesses I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of John Alcock deceased D. M. Browning (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
