This is a good starting point for people researching their ancestors in Newfoundland's

This area extends from approximately east of Adelaide Street northeast to the Battery and Quidi Vidi, then north to Cape St. Francis, south to Portugal Cove and then southeast back towards the Adelaide Street area.
