Recorded as:

Edward Doyle CLARKE, age 27, miner, Little Bay, father Thos. E., deputy sheriff & Mary Thomey, age 27, school teacher, Little Bay, father Arthur, planter in dwelling house of J. B. Blandford, J.P., Little Bay by Arthur Pittman Witnesses: J. B. Blandford, stpy Magistrate; Mary J. Wells

It Should read Edward Doyle "WELLS" ....not Edward Doyle CLARK.

My grand-father was Edward Doyle Wells from Little Bay (his father and mother were Magistrate Thomas Edward Wells (under supervision of J.B. Blanchard), and Mary Jane Wells (one of the witnesses). He married Mary Thomey (supposedly from Bristol's Hope), and they had 5 children, one of which (Robert Doyle Wells) was my father.

Dr. E. Doyle Wells

Roberts*2

May 31, 1914

Elias L. Roberts is the father of Jaunita Clara Roberts NOT Arthur Martin.

Geoff Martin
