Cathedral
of St John the Baptist (St. John's Anglican Cathedral) BURIALS FROM 1776 - 1783 Part 2 |
||||||||||
NOTES: There are 2 copies of these records: the originals and what appears to be a very old transcription (but is not dated). In fact what is presumed to be the original is likely itself a transcript. Both copies were drawn upon in order to interpret the writing, which was quite difficult at times. This transcription is bound to have errors, and the originals should be consulted whenever possible. There are gaps in these records and the following note was taken from the register “The two years of the register between Nov 4 1760 and June 27 1762 were lost when the French took St Johns, and Reverend Langman lay sick, all his papers being lost" . The term "Blue" refers to a soldier of the Blue Battalion. Daur = daughter. | ||||||||||
