Five men (names unknown) whose bodies were discovered near the Northern Head of this Harbour on January 1, 1853 were buried Jan. 3, 1853. The above mentioned formed part of the crew of the "Lima" of Liverpool bound from Portugal to St. John's. The initials H.R. on the drawers of one, and W.R. on the stockings of another may lead to the discovery of their names
