Roman Catholic
Codroy Valley and Vicinity
Church Records.

Baptisms:     1864-1886
Marriages:    1867-1884
Deaths:         1872-1886

Marriages:

These are some of the marriages I was able to decipher from the church records as they were,  in a good many cases written in French and Latin and in some cases a bit of both. This was quite common in the R.C. church records as many of the missionary priests were French and also Latin was used in the Masses as well. My French has had very little use in recent years and my Latin is nonexistent. So to the best of my knowledge the information I am providing you here is relatively accurate. These records are all photocopies of the original church records so the writing even in English leaves a lot to be desired. You will find that many of the names have an odd spelling and this is generally because they were spelled as they were pronounced in a lot of cases.
